Nagios is a monitoring system for complex networks.

Functionality

Send SMS

Have Nagios send SMS alarms via our Gateway by integrating sms77.

Installation

1. Make sure Python 2+ is installed on the system.
2. Copy sms77.py to the Nagios plugins directory usually in /usr/local/nagios/libexec.

Usage

Modify /usr/local/nagios/etc/objects/contacts.cfg:

    host_notification_commands    notify-host-by-sms
    service_notification_commands notify-service-by-sms
}

Append to /usr/local/nagios/etc/objects/commands.cfg:

# Results in a SMS like:
# RECOVERY: SMS on 127.0.0.1@localhost, State: OK, Output: 100, Date: 01-15-2021 12:30:28
